CycleUni is a second-hand textbook search and matching platform designed for university students in Taiwan. It uses ISBN-based book records so all sellers of the same title appear on one listings, making it simple to search, compare prices, and read condition details.

2. Is it free?

Yes. Campus meetup transactions in the same school have zero cost. The website collects no listing fee, no transaction fee, no hidden costs. Only when both parties voluntarily choose the shipping-plus-escrow service do we apply a single 4-5% service fee on the paid total — transparent at checkout.

3. Can I browse without logging in?

Yes. Search results and listing pages are publicly accessible without an account. Logging in with your .edu.tw email only unlocks messaging, publishing a listing and waitlist notification.

4. Why .edu.tw authentication?

Valid .edu.tw ensures everyone who trades or communicates is an actual Taiwanese university student, keeping the trust healthy.

5. Can I still use the account after graduation?

Yes. Your account continues to work but carries Alumn titles. Some on‑campus only features may become limited.

6. Do I need to re-verify every semester?

Yes. Semester re‑verification confirms your current student status; a clean student community is trust the advertisement business chain.

7. How to sell a book?

Visit the selling page, enter the ISBN → our system retrieves the book's details (title, cover). Confirm the condition: pick the appropriate subject, upload real photos and set the price (including 0 if want to give). Then push submit.

8. Can I give away books for free?

Yes. Turning the price to 0.

9. How to manage pricing?

Look at comparisons from other ex-sellers and match your condition. Normally 30-70% of starting price.

10. What is Waitlist?

If a book you were looking for not yet listed, click the "Notify Me" button. When you an sellers publishes that book — you receive an alert email instantly.

11. What is “N people waiting”?

Number of waiters for the book indicates its popularity.

12. How to contact a seller?

Click the “Contact Seller” button from book page.

13. Safety?

On-campus meet, we recommend public university spaces. For cross‑campus, activate with escrow; buyer has 72 hours verification.

14. Report a problem?

Click "Report" on the book page to flag suspicious listings; our support reviews.
