CycleUni respects your privacy. This page describes how we collect, manage and use information that you give the platform.
1. Policy Scope
This applies to all service usage offered by CycleUni under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection (PDPA).
2. Data Collection
2.1 Account
Your .edu.tw email plus the name of the university attended - they needn't be.
2.2 Book & Transaction
Your listing content (incl. pictures, conditions, pricing) and transaction records are kept.
2.3 Messages
Direct chats are stored.
2.4 Technical
Cookies, IP address, device, and pages visited are logged via standard site-analysis.
3. Data Use
- To provide services — our core platform.
- To improve products (broken-down analytics).
- To serve ads to audiences who proactively agreed in during registration (Anonymous aggregated form).
4. Sharing
We never sell your personal data. Exceptions require one of: (a) you've explicitly permitted; (b) required by law; (c) payment partners; (d) anonymous statistics.
5. Safety
Hash-based passwords different store, HTTPS always, limited access internally.
6. Cookies
We use essential ones; you can block in browser but few functions disappear.
7. Your PDPA Rights
You may request: access, correction, delete or stop processing. We respond from fifteen days.
8. Policy Changes
We update this document by replacing the copy here. Check again recommendation.
